Supporting the proactive formulation of management strategies that can adapt to long-term risks and opportunities by collecting global information on politics, economics, society, technology, and the environment, analyzing cross-domain relationships and the impact on individual companies, and generating diverse future scenarios surrounding corporate management.

Details of work

Depending on your experience and abilities, you will be in charge of one or more of the following.

• Research on automation of information collection and analysis necessary for deriving various possible future scenarios
• Research on quantification and impact assessment models for future scenarios
• Research-management services (collaboration with other research institutes and external organizations, verification and evaluation at sites for formulating management strategy, etc.)

Required knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience

Required skills: You must have skills and experience in either of the following:

• Experience in data analysis
• Interpersonal negotiation skills related to researchers and practitioners in different fields

Desirable knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience

• Skills and experience in natural language processing (NLP), large language models (LLMs) and machine learning
• Knowledge of statistics, econometrics, and behavioral economics
• Experience in business-strategy planning or consulting
  Other than the above, individuals having research experience that can be applied to this position
