マルチシェイプ無線技術による次世代無線通信の実現

次世代無線通信の高度化をめざし,電磁波の特性を活用したマルチシェイプ無線技術に取り組んでいます。軌道角運動量(OAM:Orbital Angular Momentum),非回折伝搬特性を持つベッセルビーム,曲線状主ローブを持つエアリービームなどの電磁波を利用した高度なビーム制御技術の研究を進めています。さらに,Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface(RIS)やサブテラヘルツ帯システムと組み合わせることで,柔軟なビーム形成,通信エリアの拡張,高容量無線伝送の実現をめざしています。これらの研究を通じて,将来の6G無線ネットワークを支える新しい物理層技術の創出に貢献していきます。
