At NTT Device Innovation Center, we are advancing R&D with NTT's world-leading device technology at its core. Our mission is to contribute to a more fruitful future by implementing our R&D results in society.
In June 2023, NTT established NTT Innovative Device Corporation to accelerate the social implementation of photonics-electronics convergence devices that we have been working on at this center. We then reorganized our organization, designating four new focus areas: 1) signal processing devices enabling high-capacity communication, 2) next-generation optical interface devices breaking through the limits of electronics, 3) next generation computing devices leveraging photonics-electronics convergence, 4) longevity technology for people and infrastructure based on device technology.
To drive innovation originating from devices, there are two things we value in our R&D efforts. Firstly, we continually brush up our technology by deep understanding the physics behind phenomena. Secondly, we engage with the market and actively adopt the direction of our technology to stay ahead of societal and market changes.
Through innovation originating from devices, we aim to deliver new value to society and people. Please look forward to what we will achieve.
