    Summary of the case

    There are various types of big data related to urban development and areas, such as meteorological data, energy data, and various sensor data. Among them, NTT Smart Data Science Center focuses on human flow data (personal flow data) in places where an unspecified number of people gather, such as commercial facilities, and is examining and verifying the applicability to various applications aiming at both cost reduction and comfort based on the measured human flow data and its prediction.

    Details of the initiative

    As an application example of human flow data and its prediction, for optimal control of air conditioning aiming at both energy consumption reduction and comfort in commercial facilities, we are developing technology to calculate optimal air conditioning control scenarios while predicting the future based on various in-facility data, and working on evaluation and improvement in the actual environment.
