To create diverse services, we will introduce technologies designed to increase the capacity and flexibility of access networks, reduce latency, and improve operational efficiency, while prioritizing optical performance.
To enhance user convenience, we will introduce technologies that enable higher-capacity, low-latency, highly reliable, and ultra-wide-area wireless networks to improve communication quality and expand use cases.
To provide flexible network services that meet user requirements, we will introduce technologies designed to make service provision and maintenance faster and more efficient through autonomous network operations.
For reducing labor requirements, improving efficiency, and enhancing safety, we will introduce technologies designed to fundamentally reform construction and maintenance operations.
We will introduce technologies that address various challenges in social infrastructure by leveraging our expertise in preventive maintenance and disaster preparedness gained through our experience in telecommunications infrastructure.
We will introduce the large-scale verification facilities that have supported the technology demonstration in the research and development of Access Network Service Systems Laboratories and the actual exhibition of the research results that have been put to practical use in a 90 minute tour twice a day. (Each show is a first-come, first-served ticket system with a capacity of 20 people.)
We will introduce NTT Space Environment and Energy Laboratories' R&D initiatives through a live demonstration of laser wireless power transfer. We will showcase the highest reported efficiency in laser wireless power transfer, which was achieved in 2025 through a joint research project with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.
In December 2024, the Space Environment and Energy Laboratories, NTT, became the first in the world to successfully trigger and guide lightning using a drone. This exhibition will feature the lightning-resistant drone that withstood an actual lightning strike during the experiment, along with a video presentation introducing its research and initiatives in lightning control.
Introduces an overview of the access network technologies (those already deployed) in a physical sequence from an NTT building to a customer's premise.
